Team Vanguard, builder of the ubiquitous Sunfish, Laser and numerous other fast, fun racers and daysailors has joined Summer Sailstice with some great prizes offered to all sailors and some special prizes to owners/sailors of Vanguard built boats!
It's hard to imagine there's a sailor anywhere who's never sailed aboard a Vanguard build boat. It's probably happened to everyone either starting out young in a Sunfish, competing in collegiate or junior sailing or just pushing a Vanguard dinghy off the beach at some point in life. There have been countless hours of fun sailing tales and fond memories generated build boats. Vanguard has joined Summer Sailstice to support everyone's fun on the water and hoping everyone can get their boat signed up and sailing the weekend of June 18/19.
Here's what you can win from Vanguard in 2005 wherever you're sailing on any boat or your Vanguard sailing dinghy:
All sailors are eligible to win one of the following:
One (1) Magic Marine Travel Bag with Wheels, Three (3) Magic Marine Private Kits (dobb bags), Six (6) Hats or Visors, or Six (6) T-shirts.
For sailors sailing any of these Vanguard built boats, 49er; 4.7; Club 420; Club FJ; Laser; Laser 2; Nomad; Optimist; Pico; Pram; Radial;
Sunfish; Vanguard 15; Vector; or Zuma, in addition to all the Summer Sailstice prizes and those above, you'll be entered in a Vanguard drawing for:
One (1) person's name from every class of Vanguard boat that signs up will win a Vanguard hat (ie; one person from the Laser class, sunfish class, etc.); ten (10) Vanguard Frisbees (sailors chosen at random); two (2) Army bags.
That's a great collection of prizes from the world's premier builder of fun, fast performance sailing dinghies. There are over 350,000 Optimists; 250,000 Sunfish; and 150,000 Lasers out there somewhere, plus Zumas, Vanguard 15s, and all the rest. How many do you think we can get signed up and sailing for Summer Sailstice? To learn more about Vanguard, visit http://www.teamvanguard.com/.
