'We're doing a two boat flotilla in BVI this Summer Sailstice. What's new is that we've put out the word to encourage kids to come on this one. As a result, I'm doing a Footloose 4200 cat with 4 teenagers and 5 adults including me. Three of them are about 17 years each (including my niece who's joining us from Tennessee) and one is 19. The other boat is skippered by one of our instructors who's taking his 14 year old grandson among the usual assortment of adults. Sailstice is the perfect time for a Caribbean charter with kids since it's during school vacation and although technically in hurricane season is way ahead of any reasonable expectation for storms.
