CreekFleet Sailing Club in Shelby Charter Twp., Michigan was our first public event on the 2025 Summer Sailstice World Map! And this is a BIG ONE as we're celebrating our 25th Summer Sailstice Anniversary! We’ll be sending them some swag to thank them for planning early and putting us on their calendar.
This group is free of charge to join and racing is open to anyone with a daysailer less then 20 feet long. Their Summer Solstice Regatta features at least six races on an easy to understand course, a group BYOB picnic lunch with discussion and after-race gathering.
No boat? No problem! You’re welcome to crew by connecting with a skipper by joining their email group or following them in their Facebook group. Or just show up early, chat with skippers and you may find a ride on the spot. Sailors (and those wanting to learn to sail) of all ages are welcome.
