About Summer Sailstice: Saturday, June 24th marks the 22nd anniversary of Summer Sailstice, a global holiday celebrating sailing. Sailors participated by racing, cruising or day sailing from all 50 US states and over 40 countries sailing ‘together’, wherever they are in the world. There are usually around 5,000 boats with 19,000 sailors participating. Mary Anne Greblunas have been joining in the fun since 2004. To participate and win prizes special prizes, sailors need to simply sign up on this event and then go sailing on the weekend of June 24th. There’s no better way to start the summer and no better weekend in the Northern Hemisphere to unite with sailors around the world.
