Chatham Sailing Club is planning its annual Sailstice Raft-up on the Wilmington River. In 2024 we had 16 boats (1 more than 2023) plus 4 'sail-bys' and 11 in 2025, so let's beat those numbers in '26! All local sailors/clubs are welcome to join us.
UPDATED 6/19/26
We will raft up near Priest Landing on the Wilmington River (near G23) around noonish. Communicate via radio on channel 71 to coordinate rafting up your boat with boats already anchored. If you arrive early look for Garden of Eden, Steven Fall's boat as the anchor boat.
The weather has cleared and it's looking to be an excellent longest day of the year on the water with a pleasant high of only 84˚. High tide at Priest Landing is at 12:54pm, so plan accordingly.
Bring food to share, drinks of your choice, lots of water, sunscreen, noodles, floats and musical instruments if you are so inclined!
Usually we head out around 9:30am. Some head back in around 3:30-4:30 or so, but the sun doesn't set until 8:32 so there are no rules!
Take photos and videos to submit for the contests!
