Bay Area Youth Sailing will have their first regatta of the Summer 2025 season on Summer Sailstice weekend! Children and teens ages eight to 18 will be sailing out of Richmond Yacht Club on Opti's, Lasers, CFJ's, C420's, and RS Tera's on a variety of courses outside of Brickyard Cove and the breakwater.

The mission of BAYS is to foster improved communication and cooperation among existing and aspiring junior sailing programs in the region; generate excitement and enthusiasm for junior sailing and its ideals; facilitate the linkage of aspiring junior sailors to available resources; and provide a forum for the collection and dissemination of ideas and best practices in support of junior sailing.
