The solstice marks the beginning of the astronomical summer. But this year it means much for Jezsu, the Jesuit High School in Hungary. We open a new era as we begin our first sailing season.

Last year a parent offerd us a MacGregor 26M for free use. We are a tuition free school without big foundation and sailing is not cheap at all. But after one and a half year of discussion finally we accepted the gift. Then we had to tow her from Falun (Sweden) to Miskolc (Hungary). It is about 2300 km (1490 miles) only. (It was an awsome trip with a Wolksvagen Trasporter, friends and sunshine for a week.) Now she is waiting us on the Lake Tisza, a hughe artificial lake with beautiful bird sanctuary. (I have no sailing license yet, but we have been out already with parents from the school.)

It is the beginning of the school's sailing adventure. We will not have fireworks, and we need to overcome difficulties in daily  base, but we will not stop. The water is waiting us and the wind is ready. Someday we will cross the ocean as well. Someday...
