We are hosting a US Powerboating Safe Powerboat Handling course at Half Moon Bay Yacht Club on July 18/19th, 2020! Sail on over (or drive) and enjoy 2 days at Half Moon Bay honing your skills. The HMBYC Foundation is DONATING the use of their 3 "angels" (small rescue whalers) for this course. So, space is limited unless students BYOBoats as well. The course is aimed at operating outboard powerboats. However, all skills are taught in a building blocks approach so that operators can work their way up to large boats. Beginners to advanced operators, everyone will learn something! Successful participants will earn their CA Boater Card and a US Powerboating/Sailing SPH certification, which qualifies you to charter internationally.
