OSCA, the Ocean State Catalina Association, is holding an overnight sail-in on the Kickamuit River in Warren, Rhode Island. All owners of Catalina sailboats are encouraged to stop by, check out the group, and join the organization.
OSCA members come from all over Narragansett Bay. We hold group events at least once a month during the sailing season and also organize wintertime get-togethers at area restaurants. The club runs a week-long cruise each August; the 2019 cruise will have more than 18 boats and will stop at ports including Mystic, Connecticut, and Shelter Island, N.Y. Over Memorial Day weekend 2019, the club visited the Naval War College Museum in Newport, Rhode Island (see photo) and stayed for dinner at the Officers Club there.
