Summer Sailstice 2026 is almost here, and we are looking forward to a great turnout of long-timers, first-timers, and guests. We've provided a few details below to help everything go smoothly.
Summer Sailstice 2026 Details:
- Date: Saturday, June 20th
- Time: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Format: Sail, Eat, Taste, and Jam
Schedule:
- 4:00 PM: Meet at the Super Dock and depart the marina. If you want to sail, we will find you a boat.
- Sailing: We will enjoy a group sail with photo opportunities and an optional raft-up near Turkey Cove. Please bring your cameras and phones; we will be compiling a one-minute video to submit to Summer Sailstice.
- 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM: Return to the marina for a potluck dinner featuring fried chicken, followed by an organized rum tasting and sunset views of Canyon Lake.
- Finale: Jamming and island music.
Party Notes:
- Food & Drink: Fried chicken will be provided. Please bring your own beverages and a side dish to share.
- Rum Taste-Off: To enter your favorite rum in the "Taste Off," please bring it in a brown paper bag (Keep it a Secret). We will provide tasting cups, pencils, and scoresheets.
- Music: If you would like to join the jam session, bring your ukuleles, guitars, mandolins, bongo drums, cymbals, kazoos, or any other instrument. Talent is not required!
