Join us at Jackson's Point for a fun race to celebrate summer "sailstice"!
The Summer Sailstice Chase Race Around Fox is a pursuit style race where participating boats start the race at a time according to their approximate rating. Slowest boats start first, race west from Jackson's Point Harbour, proceed around Fox Island and return back to the harbour. You can go around Fox Island either way, skipper's choice. Theoretically, all boats cross the line at the same time which makes for a dramatic finish. The race is about 12 miles.
All sailors on Lake Simcoe are welcome to attend. We will assign you a rating and a start time. The slowest boats will begin just after 11am so be at the harbour before 10 to sign up and join in.
