The Sailing Science Center will be celebrating Summer Sailstice by supporting the Oakland Yacht Club at their second annual GOTW / GOTA* Community Day. Sail over to Alameda to see cool sailing science demos, learn about Alameda CERT (Community Emergency Response Team), and meet the folks from ARCA (Amateur Radio Club of Alameda).
The San Francisco Sailing Science Center is a California Nonprofit, formed with the purpose of creating an interactive science museum framed around sailing. They are designing the museum to be fun while having strong STEAM education underpinnings. They have a well-developed team, are creating partnerships, and have constructed their first exhibits and sharing them at community events.
