Celebrate Summer Sailstice with a fun Umbrella Downwinder Regatta and SUP Rally.
Event proceeds will go to support El Cora Wildlife Refuge, and there will be cool prizes from local businesses in La Cruz de Huanacaxtle.
Registration 12:00pm at Marina la Cruz Poolside Deli.
Rules:
Umbrellas, kayak, paddle or surf boards, dinghy; anything that floats under 14'. You can design your own rig to capture wind if not using a umbrella but it cannot be a conventional rig.
Umbrellas: Maximum 2 regular size OR 1 large size per person.
No engines/motors. Paddle or oars for a rudder system to navigate. Only one paddle or oar, no paddling or sculling. No keel-line or leeway appendages.
Open to all ages and pets.
Join us even if not participating so you can cheer on the participants and enjoy some great food and music at the Marina Bar & Grill.
