San Francisco Sailing Extravaganza!

This will be our second active celebration of the Summer Sailstice event. Last year, we had one of the best days of sailing ever as we blasted around the Bay with a couple of close friends, relishing what turned out to be a classic breezy San Francisco day. This year for Sailstice we plan to sail San Francisco Bay on our Passport 42, Gemini. As full-time liveaboards we love ending Sailstice at anchor in one of our favorite spots on the Bay, either Clipper Cove or Horseshoe Bay.
If COVID allows at that point, we hope to invite a couple of friends to join in on the Sailstice celebration onboard. As always, there will be an abundance of food and drink to enjoy as we sail. We will make our favorite sourdough herb crackers from scratch (here's our recipe if you want to try them: https://youtu.be/OmhGxdyk7UY You won't be disappointed!) to accompany a variety of cheeses, nuts and fruits to keep our crew content with full bellies. Last year we crossed paths with many fellow sailor friends, including John from Latitude 38 as we did our best to participate in the Photo Treasure Hunt.
We have super fond memories from our sail last year and our experience as Sailstice Ambassadors, so bring it on Sailstice 2021! Hope to see you all out there on SF Bay!
