WSA-OC OTW - Summer Sailstice

As part of the 20th annual worldwide Summer Sailstice, WSA-OC will be sailing ‘together’ with sailors everywhere, on the weekend of June 20th, 2020 - the weekend closest to the summer solstice. The summer solstice weekend is the perfect time for us all to get out on the water, and there’s no better way to start the summer than by uniting with sailors around the world in celebration of sailing.
​This year Summer Sailstice celebrates its 20th anniversary — 20 consecutive years of worldwide sailing celebrations. Summer Sailstice invites sailors to hoist their sails wherever they are and aboard whatever they sail to showcase the “who, what, where, why and how” of sailing. One weekend in the life of sailing, and a lifetime of sailing in one weekend. Summer Sailstice is the time for all sailors of all sailing styles to celebrate ‘together’.
With the current global pandemic even the best-laid plans are subject to change. Everyone’s first priority is the health of all members, family, and the planet. Everyone is encouraged to sign up, plan to participate but adjust plans according to the best health guidelines and requests from the board of directors and your skippers at the time. Sail Safe.
