Jeanneau owners in the Pacific Northwest are celebrating Summer Sailstice with the 16th Annual Pacific Northwest CAN/AM, at Cap Sante Marina, in Ancortes, WA. Jeanneau owners are getting together for a weekend of fun and games, informative seminars, visits to local sites, door prizes, and not forgetting, the annual Jeanneau Parade of Yachts, which will be followed by dinner and presentation of the coveted “Parade Award”. Annapolis Jeanneau owners are preparing for the Olympics with the 2016 “Owners Olympics” Rendezvous. The weekend-long event begins with a raft up across which the olympic torch will be passed from boat to boat while each crew prepares an appetizer and cocktail to represent a particular country! With gold up for grabs, you can imagine the competition will be fierce. Saturday morning will commence with a race to Herrington Harbor South where sailors and their crews will spend the day relaxing and playing by the pool, beaches and tennis courts before enjoying an “Awards Ceremony” dinner.
The 16th annual Western Canada Jeanneau Rendezvous in Vancouver promises just as much fun and celebration for their Summer Sailstice get together. This year’s plans include the Summer Sailstice Parade of Sails which entails the Jeanneau owners sailing a course laid out for ‘fun, safety and low stress.’ The weekend is rounded off with seminars, which each year focus on a different topic each year to assist boaters in getting the most out of their passion and their vessel.
Sound like fun? Make sure you’re signed up for Summer Sailstice and either create your own event, or hop aboard one of the hundreds of events already on the map. Either way your sure to have a great weekend of sailing!
