Come to Santa Cruz Island and join Jeff Stansfield, Ventura Yacht Club members, and friends for a two-night cruise to celebrate Summer Sailstice. This year June 23rd is the day chosen for Summer Sailstice to honor the solstice and the longest sailing day of the year in the northern hemisphere.
Traditionally, the solstice has been a celebration of life dating back to the stone age. Ancient people saw this astronomic event as a day to take pleasure in all that life has to offer.
The group plans to do the same by enjoying the day with club members and others who worship the sun. Come in your favorite version of a sun worshipper costume and win prizes.

Activities include a sunrise coffee and croissant breakfast on the beach, volleyball on the beach, hiking, prizes for the best sun worshiper out?ts, a dingy cocktail raft up at sunset and boat parties into the evening, among other things.
