North Dakota sailors Richard Northrup and Nancy Hertz sent in photos of an idyllic day on Lake Sakakawea - not enough wind but that certainly didn't stop the fun.
Richard wrote, "Beautiful morning spent with friends (Pic1). Very little wind so we decided that a on water group picture would be in order. The fleet left Pirates Cove for the open water. Once there we cast off two of the Admirals in a dinghy (Pic2). Then the fleet sailed around them in an attempt to get a “group” picture (Pic3). A good time was had by all…..2012 Summer!!!
What are we going to do today? Hey, sunny, a little breeze, we're aboard sailboats, how about sailing!?
Everybody smile and hold still!
Perfect - sailing in the 3rd largest man-made lake in the USA, looks good.
