Welcome aboard Quincey Cummings and Mitchell Andrus currently calling Ventura California home aboard their Kelly Peterson 46 'Esprit.'
Tell us a bit about yourself!
Quincey and Mitch have been living on boats and teaching sailing for over ten years. They met in their shared hometown Park City, Utah. Mitch leaned to sail from his dad, and he's been teaching the craft ever since a live-aboard sailing semester in college turned into a regular summer job. Quincey joined him for two summers working in the Caribbean and quickly fell in love with the lifestyle. They both hold USCG Captain's licenses and ran a full-time charter company before the pandemic. Since then, they have transitioned to yacht management and private instruction, while sailing their boat as often as they can (which isn't even close to how much they want to be sailing!). Currently based in sunny Ventura, they plan to cruise Mexico and the Sea of Cortez in 2023.
