Sailstice on Buzzards Bay

March 26, 2020 by Nicki Bennett

Bob Hurley has been sailing with Summer Sailstice for 9 years, on his 1982 C&C 34, Kokopelli. Bob and his wife have had many amazing adventures on Kokopelli, during the 17 years they have owned it.

They raised their son sailing, and he now has his own boat, a Dell Quay 13, though not a sailboat, the desire to be on the water definitely runs in this family.

This summer the Hurley's will spend Sailstice (and most of the summer) cruising and exploring the waters of Buzzards Bay in Massachusetts.

We are so happy to see participants come back year after year to sail on Sailstice. As a community of sailors, we grow together, as we encourage each other to get on the water and sail. This is what makes Sailstice so special. You can take part anywhere in the world, and be connected, as we all hoist our sails together for the longest day of sailing! Can't wait to see you out there this year, to celebrate our 20th Anniversary.
