In honor of the Sailstice, Carter Lake Sail Club, 45 minutes north of Denver, Colorado is hosting an open house from 12pm to 4pm on Saturday June 18. The club is inviting members of the community to tour the facilities and go out on the water to experience sailing. Guests will be divided by interest between cruising boats and racing boats. In addition a local sailboat dealership will be providing some of their smaller boats for experienced sailors to take out for demonstrations. Later thatevening, around 6:30 pm, members from theclub will betaking theirboats out for a big raft-up, where participants can go from boat to boat and share appetizers.
