Connie posted a pic of Chatham Sailing Club members sailing on Easter out of Savannah, Georgia. They are Summer Sailstice Super-Stars, having won numerous contests over the years for their awesome participation. Their annual Raft-Ups are legendary and last year included a pirate invasion, sliding board and live music. In addition to having a whole lot of fun, the Club events are also Clean Regatta certified by Sailors for the Sea, promoting sustainability in the sailing and boating community. Apama Ohmai
On the west coast, Apama posted a picture of herself at the helm of her Beneteau 461, sailing off Santa Cruz, California. She also sails in the virtual world of Second Wind on Darkstar. Second Wind has a robust boating community and past Summer Sailstice events have included races, demonstrations and even a huge boat exposition.
