Summer Sailstice on the Patuxent River
Open to all sailors on and around the Patuxent River. Plan to raft up on St. Leonard's Creek after a day of sailing on the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay. Saturday, June 24 at 3pm, at St. Leonard's Creek near Vera's White Sands Restaurant.
ARC DelMarVa
World Cruising Club is holding a circumnavigation of the DelMarVa peninsula. Departing Annapolis, MD on June 24 and sailing straight through to Portsmouth, VA. We will observe the longest day by sailing by sun and by moon throught the night. Sign up with WCC and join in the fun, and remember to register for Summer Sailstice too and join the largest ever global sailing celebration. Plus you become elegible for prizes from our sailing sponsors, supporters and partners.
Sail Nauticus Adventure Voyage
Sail Nauticus members and guests are invited to sail to Portsmouth Park, Norfolk, VA on the Western Branch. Wind and weather willing, we shall dine in the grass onshore, so pack a lunch and bring a frisbee!

Sails Up 4 Cancer Annual Regatta
SU4C is a nonprofit organization dedicated to funding research in the education, prevention, care and cure of all types of cancer through the art and enjoyment of sailing. Join their annual fund raising regatta in Mystic. CT, and be a part of this great event. Not only will you be out on the water, you'll also be supporting a great organization. Learn more about SU4C.
Stonington Harbor Yacht Club "Women-on-the-Water" in Ideal 18s
Here's one for the ladies - and you can join in even if you don't know how to sail! Accomplished sailors will guide you on an exciting afternoon sail on and around Stonington Harbor and neigboring Fishers Island Sound, aboard Stonington Harbor Yacht Club's fleet of Ideal 18s. Sign up for Summer Sailstice and reserve your place for this fun afternoon of sailing!
Saratoga Lake Sailing Club - Free Sails
Here's another option for anyone who wants to try their hand at sailing. Saratoga Lake Sailing Club will be offering free sails on Saratoga Lake to introduce people to the sport of sailing. Go for a sail on one of the club's boats ranging from 16 to 23 feet, under the captaincy of an experienced sailor. You can sit back and enjoy the ride or take a turn on the helm. Volunteers will also be on hand to answer questions about the club and all the club's sailing school options for both adults and children. Remember to register your participation with Summer Sailstice to join the global sailing celebration, and be elegible for cool sailing-prizes!
