I am the Commodore for the newly re-organized Montserrat Yacht Club on Montserrat, British West Indies. Our original yacht club was destroyed by volcanic activity in 1997.
Montserrat is a small Caribbean island and part of the British Overseas Territories. We are struggling to get our yacht club re-established due to many factors, the small population being one and the lack of sailing yachts another. Currently there is no safe harbor but is planned. Rebuilding is taking place across all aspects of the country since the capital city of Plymouth was destroyed.
I don’t know how I came to get your email but would like any help, suggestions, etc. you can provide to help us re-establish our club.
