It goes without saying that any holiday celebrating sailing should include those who labor all year to make and sell the things that keep us afloat. More marine companies are providing prizes to Summer Sailstice as an additional way of rewarding those who sail and they're also reaching out to customers to help get the whole world sailing on the Sailstice! We haven't seen it all but want to thank the companies pictured below for joining us in creating a holiday just for sailors.
There are already loads of Hunters, Beneteaus and numerous other models of sailboats signed up to sail. Like they say, 'a ship in a harbor is safe but that's not what ships are built for'. These boats aren't built to sit around, they're built for fun and voyaging. They all encouarge you to get on board and go sailing June 21/22.
