Saving Sailing hits the airwaves

Author and speaker Nick Hayes, who, with his book, 'Saving Sailing', has prompted many engaging conversations and inspired some fresh, creative thinking about the state of sailing today will be interviewed on the radio in Milwaukee on 6/17 around 11AM EDT/10AM CDT /8am PDT.  The show is aptly called Lake Effect. Most of the interview focuses on why sailing is a great family activity, and that families can learn how at Milwaukee Community Sailing Center though, with their big event on Milwaukee Bay Nick brings Summer Sailstice to the air as well.  Should be well worth a listena and, due to the miracle of the internet, you can listen in via a stream at http://www.wuwm.com/.

We're not going to inspire new folks to join us in sailing by keeping it to ourselves.  We applaud Nick and the Milwaukee Bay clubs for helping bring sailing to people!
