Summer Sailstice is sort of a virtual rendezvous of all the 'real world' sailors connecting on the water. But the real world of sailing and the 'real virtual world of sailing' - does that make sense are also connecting on Summer Sailstice.
Dave Bloch of Island Yacht Club in Alameda and also of the vitural 'Second Life' sailing world emailed in to let us know they’re moving ahead with the Sailstice/Sail 4 Life project in Second Life.
The image shows ‘Dave’ and the “Register Now for SS” sign; which will be placed at several of the in world yacht clubs.
In that pic you see the Tshirt; Sailstice logo on the front and Sail4Life logo on the back. Those will be sold in world with 100% of proceeds to the American Cancer Society Relay for Life campaign.
