We've already received dozens of photos from Summer Sailstice participants. We'd love to see your shots and get a couple of paraghaphs of your Summer Sailstice celebrations to post on our Sailstice Tales page for 2008.
In addition, the Summer Sailstice Photo Contest will be awarding a 2008 Summer Sailstice burgee to the best five photographs submitted for Summer Sailstice. They'll be awarded for best sailing photograph, best sunset/sunrise photo, best party photo, most creative photo and most fun had sailing and taking pictures on Summer Sailstice. Just for a little inspiration we've put a few photos here and even a few non-sailing photos of some creative shots of 'holding the sun'. Show us what you've got and we'll award you a Summer Sailstice burgee for the best shots sailing on the water.
