SUMMER SAILSTICE BOAT-IN MOVIE NIGHT ON LAKE WEATHERBY

Solstice lovers come hither! and take in an on-the-water movie from your sailboat June 23rd and celebrate Summer Sailstice at Weatherby Lake! Wind and weather permitting, this movie event takes place on your boat at Pete & Lynn Pierce's house anchored on the lake.   The movie begins at dark. Bring your own food, drinks, and lots of friends.  Just north of Kansas City, Weatherby Lake is a private lake community with about 2,000 lucky residents.  The lake is 274 acres and was created in 1937. It offers a variety of recreational activities that define lake living, such as sailing, fishing, and swimming.  Earlier in the day the CSSA Junior Sailing Regatta Races start at 9 a.m.  On Sunday, Races 9 & 10 — the Early Series — begin at 1:30 p.m.
