If you're heading to Maine this summer or are lucky enough to live there, take a look at some of the Summer Sailstice events you might find in your area:

Boothbay Harbor Yacht Club are hosting a "Summer Kickoff, Shaekdown and Crew Match" and it's open to the public!   

Here's what they've planned for the day  - a run down of Rules, Tactics and Starts; Starting practice (just so you don't get left behind); a Parade of Sail; Video review of the day's activities; and of course food - lunch and an end of day Cookout! Rockport Boat Club is holding their 'Youth Sailing Summer Warm-up'! They'll be launching and warming up their 420 Vanguards, and have invited sailors to come on down and check out the action as a preview to their 8-week sailing program.
