Ullman Sails Long Beach Race Week June 22-24

Jim Bateman from Southern California has signed up with the Catalina 37 ‘Team ABYC’ which will be racing the win their class in LBRW and the Catalina 37 National Championship. According to Jim LBRW offers three days of great racing,15 classes, 150 boats, three circles, great post race parties. It will be one of many great race weekends that coincides with Summer Sailstice allowing participants in these regattas a chance to win twice – once to win the regatta and second, if they’re signed up for Sailstice, a chance to win from the Sailstice prize list.

This will also be the LBRW’s second year as a ‘Sailors for the Sea’ Regatta. Summer Sailstice continues to support Sailors for the Sea by encouraging all sailors to sign up and pledge funds to Sailors for the Sea for every miles sailed on the Sailstice. The combined support of a few dollars and a few miles sailed by all sailors on Summer Sailstice can add up to a huge, positive impact for the oceans.
