Thanksgiving

As the holidays approach and we look back on everything we are thankful for this year- our Sailstice community makes top of the list. Summer Sailstice 2021 was a highlight for the year.

There is nothing we enjoy more than life under sail, and sharing it with a global community of sailors.

Thank you for making Summer Sailstice so great!

There is no better time to start planning for Sailstice 2022 than now! Mark your calendars for June 18th, 2022. Sign up for sails up, because it is always a good time.

The map is currently empty which means, you could be one of the first!!

Summer Sailstice wants you to score with our winter hat trick. The annual Summer Sailstice celebration global chart is now refreshed and looking for the first sailors to post their intended sailing plans for June 18, 2022. (Like the wind, subject to change.)

We have hats contributed from Brady and Blue of Cruisers Academy, Beneteau USA, Bitter End Yacht Club, SunsailSail MagazineSummer Sailstice,Latitude 38, Marina El Cid and we even found a couple of classics from Stone Boat Yard and Maritime Institute. We'll draw names from the first folks who pop a pin on the Summer Sailstice map showing where and what you plan to sail on Summer Sailstice. You can amaze us if you already know who you'll be sailing with and include that too. It could be the Newport Bermuda Race or a sail across Farm Pond in Sherborn, MA. Or any body of water near you.

Sailing on Blue Friday

In our opinion, the best way to beat the consumerism rush of the holiday's is to get outside and #raiseyoursails! Don't forget to tag us on social media if you get out sailing through the holidays or send your sailing stories and photos to nicki@summersailstice.com.
