Flying Scot, long time sailstie participant and supporter is holding a raffle for two brand new boats. Information below is from Scuttlebutt Sailing News.

The Flying Scot Sailing Association (FSSA) will be raffling off two (2) new Flying Scot sailboats and multiple prizes by June 1, 2020.

Further Information:
Chances for winning two new Flying Scot Boats, trailers, and new sails worth approximately $27,400/boat can be purchased at $150 per ticket (5 ticket limit). No more than 360 tickets will be sold. Those not winning the new boats are eligible to win over $4000 in prizes which will go 10 deep from a menu of sails, trailer, cover, gear, and apparel companies. Vendors included in the menu are our longtime sponsors: Flying Scot, Inc., Mad Sails, North Sails, Schurr Sails, Quantum Sails, Rooke Sails, Ullman Sails, Coral Reef Sailing Apparel, Annapolis Performance Sailing, Sailors’ Tailor, and West Marine.

Drawing:
The winning raffle ticket will be drawn (on June 1, 2020) and the winner will pick up (or have delivered) her/his new Flying Scot boat by mid-July (if not sooner) in time for sailing locally or at the North American Championships in Cedar Point, CT. The boat will be built by Flying Scot Inc., of Deer Park, Maryland. Proceeds ($5000) will go to the Flying Scot Sailing Association Foundation.

• Can you win more than one boat in this raffle? No, only 1 boat or prize per person!
• Is it possible to customize the boat after winning the raffle? Yes, there will be time for you to contact Tyler or Carrie Andrews (boat builder) at Flying Scot Inc. to determine color of hull, accouterments, etc.
• If all the tickets sell before the June 1st deadline, will the drawing commence earlier? Yes!
• Do you have to be a FSSA member to buy a ticket? No!
