Welcome ambassador Mary Anne Greblunas. A long-time Sailstice participant and ambassador before it was such a thing! She is passionate about getting on the water and sharing sailing with the world.
Tell us a bit about yourself!
I have been sailing since 1988. My first boat was a Columbia 8.7 (Island Time) and sailed on her for my 1st Summer Sailstice in 2004. The next year I put together my first club Summer Sailstice Cruise. (Stingray Harbour Yacht Club.) In 2009, I fell in love with the Wauquiez Pretorien 35, she was a fast cruising sailboat, within 3 months we had Tiki Rose. In 2013, we moved Tiki Rose to Hampton, VA. where I had the honors to introduce Summer Sailstice to Hampton Yacht Club and lead my first Summer Sailstice Cruise in the Southern Chesapesake Bay. I love bareboating and have been lucky enough to bareboat in the BVIs, St.Vincent to Grenada and Tahiti. This past year I moved to Norfolk, VA, now I get to race on a friend's J/110 on Wednesday nights.....Living the Life I Love!
