Welcome aboard to Pat and Carole McIntosh. Pat & Carole can't sail with us on Sailstice but are passionate about getting other sailors on the water. They have extensive experience sailing and cruising and enjoy helping others prepare for and reach their sailing goals.
Tell us a bit about yourself!
We've been sailing (and stink-potting) together for 50+ years from The San Juans to Mexico. We have spent most of the time on Folsom Lake or S.F. Bay and The Delta on boats ranging from a Jim DeWitt "Flower Pot" or Coronado 15, to ESPIRITU that we took to Mexico for a few years. For the last 10 years we've enjoyed helping prepare sailors for coastal cruising by providing free seminars and books to them at boat shows and other meetings. We've also enjoyed being part of the cruising community spending time in Mexican villages along the Pacific Coast and The Sea of Cortez.

Blue, as in clear Pacific-Blue

Unfortunately not sailing, my right Achilles tendon has me grounded until July 1!

Why do you want to be a Summer Sailstice Ambassador?
We want to encourage all our sailing buddies to have a fantastic day/weekend on the water, and to hoist one for us -ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN BARRA DE NAVIDAD-
Who is your sailing hero?
Our heroine is a young gal we met while cruising. She is from Santa Cruz named Criss who has become an officer on a Tall Ship.
What is your bucket list sailing trip?
Carole thinks I'm crazzy, but I'd like to crew for somebody on one more Baja Ha Ha.

Pirates of the Caribbean.
