Welcome aboard to ambassador Trisha McElroy. Trisha is an avid racer on the East Coast and life long sailor. Trisha is very active in her local sailing community in Rhode Island and has been participating in Sailstice for 5 years. 

Tell us a bit about yourself! 

Racer sailed Caribbean, Adriatic, Mediterranean Seas, and East Coast, some West Coast, Gulf of Mexico, and beyond Delivery Captain, raced every big event on the east coast.

Why do you want to be a Summer Sailstice Ambassador?

I love the idea and want to share and promote it in my area, Newport, RI. I have contacts at all the clubs and associations.

How do you plan to promote Summer Sailstice? 

Email, web Site, posters, and maybe even over a beer when we can actually get together. Local sail rags and local papers. Notices in YC newsletters.

I have many, Ellen MacArthur, Dawn Riley, Betsy Allison, Ida Lewis

Race around Vancouver Island
