Sailing on Sailstice from Alaska to Montana to Fiji and beyond!

Sailstice plans are rolling in from around the world, on boats all varieties and sizes. The celebrations look different than years past, but we are excited to see so many sailors ready to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Summer Sailstice. We put together an article on the individual ways people are celebrating this year. From solo sailing, social distance sails with yacht clubs and fleets, family sails, virtual sails, and much more. We do realize that many people are not able to sail due to the pandemic and have created a sailing in the pandemic guide for our community. We encourage you to be safe and celebrate within the local guidelines of where you are located, but we hope you will sail-a-brate!

Feel free to be creative! If you can't take the boat out; enjoy a meal on the dock, organize a zoom, or join a litany of virtual events happening over at Sailing in Second Life.
